This is the typical symptom when using the wrong servo pulse modulation. Because the 760uS and 1520uS standards partly overlap the servo works in that range but disengages when the control signal from the gyro goes out of spec. Please go to the "Servo Type Selection" menu and select the correct modulation for your servo.
