capabilities of the Spartan AP-2000i :
Does this stabilization system require additional parts other than the gyro to stabilize a heli that the pilot is disoriented on such that if the heli is inverted, pitched up or down, yawed, etc., the pilot can release the sticks and the heli will right its self? Does it have the same potential as the SJGD FS600 stabilization system as seen here: www.heliflightcenter.com/SJGD_FS600_Flybarless_Unit_LCD_Pro_ box_p/fs600.htm Thanks for your help, Don |

Hello
To enable the infrared stabilisation capabilities of the AP-2000i you will also need to order: From Spartan RC: 1x Adaptor cable for FMA CPD4SENUNIT From FMA: 1x FMA IR sensor [CPD4SENUNIT] The AP-2000i will not let you fly inverted when upright stabilisation is enabled. However, if you are inverted with stabilisation off and then you turn stabilisation on the AP-2000i will flip the helicopter upright. Similarly, if you set the AP-2000i for inverted stabilisation it will flip the helicopter inverted as soon as you turn stabilisation on. The AP2000i is not the same as SJGD FS600 as this is a flybarless stabilizer. John |
