Alan Szabo Jr. (USA) Team Pilot I have been flying helicopters since 1998. I am currently sponsored by Spartan RC, Align, V-Blades, OS Engines, Spektrum RC and Thunder Power Batteries. I travel around the world constantly doing demonstration flights for my sponsors.
I have been using Spartan gyros for the past 3 years and have yet to fly another gyro that performs equal to it let alone better. Also the ability to update the devices firmware to the latest and greatest version as well to being able to tweak the setting via USB / Bluetooth connection is one of the many features that sets Spartans products apart from the competition. |

Henry Caldwell (USA) Team Pilot I've been involved in the RC hobby for over 20 years and helicopters since 1995. I'm sponsored by Spartan RC, Outrage RC, SWE Blades, YS Engines, Skookum Robotics, HDX, Horizon, and Prestige RC. I'm currently Team Leader for Outrage RC and work with their product development also. This includes servos, mufflers, batteries and helicopters.
I use Spartan gyros for one simple reason. They are the BEST. The ds760 as well as the Quark are extremely good. These gyros have constant piro rates as well as being very precise and smooth. Even through a lot of reversals they cannot be beat. I demand a lot from my gyros and Spartan gyros give me everything. |

Bert Kammerer (USA) Team Pilot I have been involved in R/C for over 25 years and helicopters since 2004. I'm currently sponsored by various manufacturers, including Spartan R/C, Align R/C, HeliWholesaler, Horizon, O.S. Engines, Byron Fuels, ThunderPower and others. I am also a consultant for some of these companies and the team manager for HeliWholesaler. I attend over 20 helicopter events per year, including fun flies as well as competitions around the world. I have placed in the top 10 at the XFC (Extreme Flight Championships) for 3 years in a row, took 2nd place at the 2008 Align Cup and Competition in Las Vegas, Nevada and 1st place at the XFC team competition in 2008 and 2009 with Bobby Watts.
I use Spartan gyros on all my helicopters. The ds760 as well as the Quark are the most technologically advanced gyros on the market with many advantages over any other gyros. They have more holding power than other high end gyros, are more immune to vibration and can handle eye-blurring pirouetting speeds of over two full turns per second, they are also very smooth and precise. |

Marcus Kim (USA) Team Pilot I started flying helicopters when I was 12yrs old. My father taught me the basics and then I progressed from there. I have placed 5th at xfc 2005, 6th xfc 2006, 2004 IRCHA Night fly Champ, and a few other awards here and there. I am currently sponsored by Avant RC, Thunderpower R/C, Horizon Hobbies, Coolpower Fuels, Hatori Mufflers, Edge Rotor Blades, and last but not least Spartan RC. What makes the Spartan gyro so special is its consistent piro rate through any maneuver you throw at it. I have yet to try another gyro that can outperform the Spartan. |

Paul Campbell (GBR) Test Pilot Paul has been involved with RC models since 1992 and flown helicopters since 2003. His other sponsors include Revolution Models and Aurorra. Paul is very active in the UK helicopter scene and he is one of the organisers of 3D Scotland. He is always very keen to try new stuff which usually results to him being the guinea pig for Spartan firmware updates before they are released to the public.
We asked Paul why he likes Spartan gyros to which he replied: "I have tried over ten different gyro models from various leading brands and all had one niggle or another. I finally found something that just works, it is consistent and it gets better with every firmware update. Couldn't ask for more." |

Tareq Alsaadi (UAE) Team Pilot Tareq has been flying helicopters since the Summer of 2005 and he certainly knows how to please the crowds. We first met Tareq at 3D master 2008 where he gave one of the most entertaining flights of the weekend. At his Helista magazine interview Tareq remarked: “To have fun, and to make sure the spectators are having fun. I try not to think about the number of points I earn or how the judges score my flight. I just try to be at my best, relax, and hope that my equipment will perform well.”
At the same interview and almost a year before Tareq joined the Team Spartan he replied: "My preferred gyro is the Spartan DS760. The piro rates are very consistent, it performs great, and the company is very supportive." |

Brandon Fiorante (CAN) Junior Team Pilot I started the hobby in 2008 and its been an exciting adventure. The best part about the hobby is that you meet new friends, learn and help out. The first competition that I won was the IAN at Ircha 2009. My sponsors include Spartan RC, Lynx Heli Innovation and Empire RC.
When I first tried the Spartan gyro I couldn't believe the difference it made. My 450’s tail was a lot easier to control in difficult manoeuvres. It almost felt like I was flying on the simulator. From my tiny Gaui 200 to a 90 size Nitro I am still not able to find the limits for this gyro. |

Luca Invernizzi (ITA) Team Pilot I started flying RC helicopters in 2006, at the age of 41 and I discovered that they were the missing passion of my life. I love helicopters, both designing and flying them. I am deeply involved with Novarossi World as consultant to test and define their heli engines. I am also sponsored by Outrage RC and I work as product manager of Lynx Heli Innovations. I am addicted to 3D flying and I enjoy attending heli gatherings and meeting old friends. For this I try to attend all major heli events around the world. I have competed in the Italian Championship, Orlando Heli Blowout and the Las Vegas Align contests.
I always believed that pirouetting consistency and predictability are the most important features of a gyro. A good gyro makes learning 3D easier and complex manoeuvres possible. With the Spartan ds760 I was really happy, but now with the new Quark I am thrilled. Since I started using the Spartan ds760 my skills have rapidly improved. Now I use mixture of ds760 and Quark gyros in all my helis, from the small but furious Outrage G5 to Nitro 50 and 90. |

Alvin Chai (CAN) Team Pilot I started flying RC helis in the Summer of 2005. The great part about this hobby is travelling to events and making new friends along the way. Currently I am sponsored by Outrage RC, Byron Fuels, Skookum Robotics, Western Robotics, Spartan RC, and Canomod.
I've been flying the Spartan ds760 since it first came out, the performance of this gyro is second to none, it just works! The piro consistency, holding power, and ease of setup is what makes Spartan gyros special. With the release of the Quark, Spartan has again set a new benchmark for all tail gyros in the market today. |
