Question #41
My Logictech servo powers off at full travel.
Answer
We are aware of the issue and has now been addressed in firmware version 2v00 where a special mode for Logictech servos is provided. Background information. Logictech servos do not follow the 760uSec specifications although they will work in 760uSec mode if the gyro endpoints are kept in safe limits.
We strongly advice that you upgrade your gyro firmware to version 2.00 before using these servos. If you choose to run these servos in 760uSec mode ensure that you set the low gyro endpoint at least 5% below than these values. During flight the ds760 will never drive the servo past the endpoint value and thus these servos can safely be used. After configuring your gyro check that the servo operates normally throughout the entire travel range. |
